Rhinoplasty and Otoplasty
Rhinoplasty, also known as a nose job, is a cosmetic surgery procedure that aims to improve the appearance and function of the nose by reshaping the bone and cartilage. The benefits of rhinoplasty can include a more symmetrical and proportionate nose, improved breathing, and an overall boost in self-confidence. Otoplasty, also known as ear surgery, is a cosmetic procedure that aims to improve the appearance of the ears by reshaping, resizing or repositioning them. The benefits of otoplasty can include ears that appear more natural and proportional to the head, improved self-esteem and self-confidence, and correction of congenital defects or injuries.
Rhinoplasty Surgery
Rhinoplasty, also known as a “nose job,” is a surgical procedure that can change the shape, size, or overall appearance of the nose. The procedure can address a variety of concerns, including a bulbous or drooping tip, a crooked or asymmetrical nose, a wide or large nose, a bump on the bridge of the nose, and difficulty breathing.
The surgery is done by making incisions inside the nostrils. Or across the columella (the area between the nostrils) to access the underlying bone and cartilage. Then, the surgeon reshapes the nose to the desired shape, by removing or adding tissue. Or by repositioning the bones and cartilage. Rhinoplasty can be performed either under general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation. Recovery can take several weeks and swelling, bruising, and tenderness are common in the first days and weeks after surgery.
