CoolSculpting is a non-invasive fat reduction procedure that uses a method called cryolipolysis, or “fat freezing,” to eliminate stubborn fat cells in certain parts of the body. It works by delivering controlled cooling to target the fat cells underneath the skin without affecting the skin itself.

Fat cells are more susceptible to cold temperatures than other types of cells. When exposed to extreme cold, these cells crystallize, break down, and eventually die. Over the weeks and months following the treatment, the body naturally processes these dead cells and eliminates them, reducing the overall amount of fat in the treated area.

CoolSculpting can permanently eliminate approximately 25% of fat cells in the treated area in each session. However, it’s important to note that CoolSculpting is not a weight loss solution and is best suited for treating visible bulges of fat in areas like the abdomen, flank, and thighs.
