CoolSculpting can be used to treat various parts of the body. Some of the FDA-cleared areas for treatment with CoolSculpting technology include:

  • Flanks (also known as love handles or muffin top)
  • Abdomen
  • Thighs (including inner and outer thighs)
  • Lower back that extends from the love handles
  • Mid-back fat on the sides
  • “Bra bulge” fat
  • Buttocks (including the “banana roll” – the stubborn fat deposit under the buttocks)
  • Upper Arms
  • Submental region (under the chin, also known as double chin)

However, it’s important to note that not all areas of the body can be treated with CoolSculpting. For instance, the pubic area, legs and ankles, face and neck (except for the submental region), jowls, acne, sunken cheeks, rosacea, and knees are typically not treated with CoolSculpting.
